Tanzania is a country in East Africa known for its incredible landscapes, rich culture, and deep agricultural roots. It was formed in 1964 when Tanganyika (the mainland) united with the island nation of Zanzibar, creating the United Republic of Tanzania.
It’s home to some of Africa’s most famous natural wonders—Mount Kilimanjaro (the continent’s highest peak), the Serengeti plains, and the coral-rich shores of Zanzibar. Tanzania also has 120+ ethnic groups, which gives it a beautiful mix of languages and traditions, though Swahili and English are the main national languages.
For coffee lovers: Tanzania is especially respected for high-grown coffees, often produced by small farms on fertile volcanic soils. These beans are commonly known for a bright, clean cup with fruit and floral notes and a smooth finish—perfect for customers who enjoy a flavorful, lively coffee experience.
